Funds are raised in all kinds of ways to finance the projects.

Apart from government grants and donations from other foundations, private persons and companies raise money in their own ways.
In the following pages you can find a selection from these many spontaneous activities.

Group 7 and 8 of primary school The Small World of Leimuiden did collect on April 28, 2011 with their Trade-Fair project "Kids in Bizz" 400 euros for Aksai Foundation. The companies Bloksma Kitchens BV and De Werkvloer BV at Leimuiden doubled that rate to 800 euros! Awesome!

The sale of used goods on Queens Day in the Burgh Eindhoven (April 30, 2011) provided for our foundation more than 300 euros.
Margot, Nicole and Ted, thank you!

On April 6th, 2011 the students of Primary Till Eulenspiegel (Deurne) ran their annual sponsor run for charity. This great sporting achievement resulted in handing over a check of up to 2000 euros (!) for Aksai Foundation on April 27th.

To celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on July 17, 2010, Hilly and Wim Brouwer (Eindhoven) asked instead of gifts their guests a contribution for the Aksai Foundation which resulted in a donation of 970 euros!

In 2009 and 2010 we received a generous donation from Lions Club De Keersop.

The aim seems to satisfy the means...
In December 2003 1,300 euro was raised at a handicraft fair at Café 't Mulderke - Eindhoven.

In April 2004 students and teachers of Pleincollege Antoon Schellens raised 5,500 euro with their charities sponsor run. Half of the money was donated to a project in the Philippines and the other half to Aksai children's hospital. We thank all runners and skaters for their efforts.

Our Almaty project also inspired the Kunst & Ko artists of Eindhoven. In June and July 2004 they exhibited colourful paintings and ceramics at Galerie Margot, Hoefkensstraat 20, Eindhoven. Part of the proceeds of the sale of these articles was donated to Aksai children¬„s hospital.

Beckers Art Shop of Eindhoven had 100 silk-screen prints made of one of the paintings. A small number of these prints can still be bought for 100 euro each. Extremely good value for money and a great help to the Aksai children's hospital. (frame: 70 x 70 cms, picture: 50 x 50 cms. Phone: +31 (0)40 - 255 41 24)
